Stand Up

"Speak up even if your voice shakes." "Stand up for what you believe in even if you're standing alone." ----------------------           I don't know where my mind has been this past week. They taught evolution and I do not believe in evolution. There is no hard actual evidence for human evolution. I let the teacher know, third day of freshman year I started a debate with my biology teacher. I was thoroughly convinced she would hate me for the rest of the year. We didn't actually go into evolution until a bit later, but again I shared my evidence with her in front of the class. She asked me to stay after class, I thought i was going to g

Wasteland

Why are wastelands so beautiful to us? Why do we find dystopian settings so compelling and post apocalyptic life to be an interesting fantasy? ----------------------------          We are drawn to these things because the idea of something new coming out of the dust. We use them as reasons for people not to love us. However, to someone in the world your wasteland is beautiful. Remember that you have survived 100% of your worst days and kept going against whatever odds you had. Everything you go through in life is either going to be a flower or asphalt in the waste

I found a website called "Great Big Story" through a YouTube human I watch and looked into what they do. Instantly I wanted to share the story of Karanse and everything over there so I shot them an email and fingers crossed they decide to help me produce a film over the summer in Karanse. If not, I'm going to do it anyway. So to all of you strangers out there: let me tell you about a school called PUNCHMI and how it changed an entire village....      PUNCHMI was started by Pastor Warieli in 2003, he saw a need in Kar
